About JOjo

Hello!

My name is Joanna Goddard or Jojo for short. Which works because I am short.

I like bananas and cheeze-its (hint hint)

The purpose of this site is to update and hopefully encourage you with what God is doing in my life.

I have spent the last two years studying Bible at the Ethnos  360 Bible Institute. However, my story with the Lord does not start there. It starts with a little girl and some very good news.

I was five years old when I first heard the Gospel. It was not complicated. I understood heaven was the good place and hell was the bad place and Jesus Christ is the way. As I grew older, the Lord called me to live my life out for Him when I was twelve. At twelve, I committed my life to Him. The very next year on a missions trip, He broke my heart for the lost. I had never thought about how others across the world did not have a Bible. They did not know about Jesus Christ.

To this day, this reality still breaks my heart. God came down from heaven in the form of man to save man. He died on the cross to save ALL of mankind. Now, we have the privilege and honor to tell others about Him. Throughout my life, I have been to several places for the sake of missions. I have been to Orlando, to Tennessee, to Missouri, to North Carolina, Bahamas, Mexico, and to Tanzania These were short trips and were different from each other, but all for the sake of Christ. Now, I am desiring to give my whole life to missionary work.

So a new chapter begins...

As of August 2019 my husband Spencer, and I are in  Missionary Training at the  Ethnos 360 Missionary Training Center.

I hope you enjoy following along and will pray for me as I obey and serve the Lord.

What Scriptures

encourage you?

And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”    Isaiah 6:5-8

"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God"

Colossians 3:3

What are you most excited about?

I am most excited about being one step closer to missions. I am excited about more focused studies for the purpose of ministering to others.I also love connecting with people  like my classmates the staff, another church body and those involved in and outside local ministry that I hope to be involved in.

About Us

We are Spencer and Joanna Goddard.

We are just regular people with a heart for the lost. Currently, we are students at Ethnos360's Missionary Training Center in Missouri. We are in our second semester of this two year program, which specializes in equipping tribal church planters. Our desire is to serve overseas as part of a church planting team, bringing the light of the Gospel to an un-reached people group.

JoJo is from Florida, and Spencer grew up as Missionary Kid in Paraguay. We were recently married in December of 2019. We love being with people -- playing games, drinking coffee, and eating (we eat a lot). :)

Please feel free to contact us with any questions, prayer requests, or life updates, or if you would like to arrange a time to meet us! We would love to meet up with you and spend time getting to know one another!
